Makua Services values

In our quest to creating a meaningful legacy for a better tomorrow for Makua Services and the communities in which we operate, we have identified education as a key focus area in CSI.

Our CSI strategy is aimed at facilitating the future development of talented individuals within a defined scope of interventions which includes the Bursary Programme. Our objective is to fund academically deserving, young South Africans who are studying at a recognised Higher Institution; University or College.

The field of Mining and Engineering has been identified as our Scarce and Critical skills, applicants studying in these fields will be given first preference. Given the magnitude of the lack of funding in education and the greater national need to develop young talents for the future, we will sponsor other disciplines depending on fund availability.

We would like to award Top South African Achievers Bursaries in various disciplines for the 2026 academic year.

Makua Services learnership programme is aimed at providing learners with the platform to gain practical skills in the workplace. We will equip you to achieve an NQF recognized qualification and enable you to build a solid foundation for your career. You will receive training in soft skills as well as experience your field of study.

Makua Services will only support Learnership programmes that run from 12 to 36 months maximum. Student will receive a stipend while training.
