Mr Cedric Sekwati Makua is the son of the Makua's, hence He named the company "Makua Services" with the aim of building a family legacy. His experiences and skills in construction and handyman jobs was gained through working with his uncle Mr Makgopa's Construction. After matric Mr Cedric took a gap year and went on to train and learn other additional skills in handyman. While at it, he also registered to study further at Unisa studying Marketing and other business courses with other institutions. Because of the passion of working with his own hands and the love of working with people, Mr Cedric could not stop learning, rather he continued to explore more other ways to gain skills and experiences in customer services, sales, administrations, marketing, advanced computer skills, web designing and others.

With all the skills and experiences gained through studying, training and working, Mr Cedric started Makua Handyman Services which was later renamed Makua Services and changed from a handyman to a well established construction company. From a handyman and to just being a construction company, Makua Services is now a multi-services providing company which currently offers quality and reliable Building Construction services, Handyman services, Supplies, Transport, Media, and Cleaning services.

Experiences gained from learning, training and working in retail. He worked in retail of building materials where he gained experiences in sales and marketing. He is experienced in sales, customer services, marketing, promotions, advertising, media marketing and business administrations.

After matric, the gap year Cedric took was to familiarise himself with constructions how-to and to learn how to work for himself. In the process of working in construction, he became quite proficient with building construction, from draughting of plans, building a house from scratch to completion, maintenances, interiors, additions and renovations.
